Default The curse of big brother!

Just read this in this week's Closer T.V section:

Thursday 22nd May, 9pm Channel 5

"In case you didnt know, Big Brother 4 kicks off tomorrow, so Five takes a timely look at the fortunes of some of the faces from previous shows. Most we already know about (especially if you read Closer's "Big Brother to Big Bucks" feature last week) but it's a chance to get the inside line from Helen, Sada, Josh and even BB3 escapee Sandy, who gives his first interview since going over the wall. Vanessa Feltz talks about her infamous appearance on the first celebrity version, and there are some tongue-in- cheek claims from a Feng Shui expert who talks about bad energy in the BB2 house.

Thanks, Paul

I've made a note to watch this programme and also one on the 18th called "The Trouble With Reality TV". Should get me nicely in the mood for BB4.

Thanks for the info, Paul. I'm looking forward to this programme.

Rachb - I saw a trailer on Sky earlier tonight which also said that 'The Trouble with Reality TV' was on tomorrow night at 10 p.m. Maybe it's repeated on the 18th as well?

I noticed this curse programme advertised a couple of week's ago, be interested to hear what everyone has to say.

I hope the Reality tv programme is on tonight cos I have already set the video for 10pm as I am being a bit of a gad about and off out straight from work tonight on a cruise and booze night. What my head will be like tomorrow I dread to think.

Busybee - as long as you're taping Sky One - you'll be OK. 'The Trouble with reality TV' is on at 10pm. I can't figure out whether it's a different programme to what Paulwj first mentioned. Oh it must be, as that's advertised for Channel 5, on 22nd May.

Have a good night!

Well, I've just wasted an hour of my life watching "The Trouble With Reality TV".

I don't know what else to say about it, really.

Very, VERY negative view of Reality TV, wasn't it?

My personal view, for what it's worth . . . . .

Spencer came over as a total slob - and no need for the vitriolic attack on Alex.

PJ was a typical 'lad', but at least realised his limitations.

Lee and Sophie - I still don't get them as a couple.

Adele - NO-ONE deserved the terrible treatment she got when she left the house. It was disgusting.

Nick - a prat as always.

Rick - totally agree with Foxy . . . he annoys the hell out of me now.

Narinder - all of her own doing. Stay at home with your husband sometimes, love.

Tim - nuff said.

Roll on BB4 is all I can say!

I thought it was an enjoyable 60 minutes of telly, but maybe that's just me.

Though the BB contestants that declined the opportunity of appearing in this made the right decision probably. Pretty uncalled for remark by PJ about Adele aswell IMO.

It was quite interesting to see Lee and Sophie, I thought, because we haven't seen or heard all that much of them. I thought they looked genuine.

Well, I missed it, but after reading everyone's comments I am not too upset!
No-one worth seeing in that lot.

Interesting how differently some people viewed it from each other though

I only saw the last half hour of it.
It did nothing for me really
(except the clip with Bubble & Dean singing - it made me realise how much I remember 2 being better than 3)

Oh and seeing that awful Tim again I just wanted to throw eggs at the TV - pompous little twit
(thats polite as Davina says, - 'No swarring')

Anyway as 4 is an even number like 2, I am hoping that it is a good omen

I felt really sorry for Sophie as she sat next to Lee and he talked about his time with the Dreamboys.

Intersting that only Stuart and Narinder from BB2 were on (not counting the clip of Bubble & Dean). The rest of them had more sense!!

Anyone know why they had to do a "reconstruction" of Vanessa going mad in Celeb BB?

How bad was "The Trouble with Reality Television"?

All of the better known faces steered clear.

I agree that Jade's mother shouldn't have an agent.

Some of the best known ones weren't even mentioned by name !

Roll on "The Curse..." it can't be any worse.

Maybe it's because Celeb BB1 was shown on the BBC.

Incidentally you can watch some of the Celeb BB1 shows on the BBC website:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/1225722.stm

(They're on the right where it says Watch Highlights)

I think I recognised that Narinder clip from one of those Celebrities Behaving Badly shows.
