So here we are yet again with the hiding of alcohol. Why?
It's incredibly selfish unless you are not a guzzler and find it all gone after you have finished your first glass. However you would surely explain the fact that you are saving some for a second glass and people would surely understand.
However Sukhvinders reason was not because she was saving it for herself...so why hide it?
She hides it because she sees it as a way of 'buying' friendship. She berated Chantelle for moaning saying "if it wasn't for me you wouldn't have any"...and that just said it all.

Every year there is someone who does this. And nearly always claims its not for themselves too...as if that makes taking it from the rest of the group...to hide for your friends is any better.
