Default Game Request: TiBB The Apprentice

I have asked James about this, but just to make other mods clear, I am planning on making my own new project, an experiment which hopefully will go well this time because this is new, innovative and educational.
TiBB The Apprentice will (if it is allowed) feature 10 candidates (5 female FMs and 5 male FMs), living in an estate for up to 9 weeks (Friday 6th July to Friday 7th September), with many tasks, twists and turns that they will face. For the first week, me, and some others who would like to volunteer as judges, will see how the 10 people are capable of, and in Week 2, I will start firing people, with the help of the public.
The team that makes the least profit from their product (which will be submitted publicly using paint), will lose. Then, that team will face the public vote, except for the Project Manager who automatically goes into the Boardroom. The 2 people with the most votes will go into the Boardroom, I will choose who gets fired. And, every day at 10.00pm, I will post highlights in the Discussion thread.
Hopefully, auditions will start on 25th May, ending on 8th June. So, please can it be allowed?

Other FMs, who are not candidates, are going to be the buyers, and must decide, looking at the products and what they are for, which one they should buy.
The candidates should work out how much they should sell their products, and try to get the most profit.

Big Brother is nothing like The Apprentice. But I want you, the public, to have more interaction. Actually, I have decided to keep to the simple layout.

Yes. Plus, some of you can be clients.

So unlike virtual big brother we all get to take part if we want to?

Hmmm, sounds like a really good idea. BUT it seems like it'll be hard to do.

Well, the 10 candidates take part in the main activities. But other FMs can be members of the public, buying the products from either team.

OK then. So, now we need to know if the Mods agree. I asked James, but he hasn't "talked" to the others yet.

So you would have at most five topics running on the board. Something like this:

A topic for team 1 (posting by players only)
A topic for team 2 (posting by players only)
boardroom topic (posting by players only)
market place topic
general discussion area
The first two wouldn't have to be here and could be done through Yahoo or MSN if you don't want to let one team know what the other is doing.

The only thing I would be against is some kind players only chat area and that the members can't post on the board in general.

Also the system of picking the people that take part is done randomly by one of admin team (james, mark or kaz) and not a ordinary member on the board.

For the first 2 threads, I'd thought of maybe it would be one thread, and the 2 teams might think about their ideas together, with main ideas via email/U2U. In Week 1, there will be just 1 team, and by the end of Week 1, there will be 2 teams.
As for the picking of people, do you mean the candidates or the members of public? I would suggest that 25 people are part of the public.
GD Area is good, for views and spoilers, so that will stay, and so will The Boardroom and Market Place.

Yes I mean the candidates

As for members of the public you could use the whole board who happen to be on. That way everyone is involved and nobody feels left out. That was always the problem with virtual big brother.

James said there have been some successful versions of this run on other boards have you looked at any of these for idea's ?

I haven't looked at them yet? Where are they?

As for the candidates, I'm still now sure about the process. If we randomly select the candidates, and this series turns out to be a success, would the normal audition process be used IF a second series is commissioned?
But I know where you are coming from though. But then again, it could turn out like BB then, not a business show. I'll try and comprimise.

To clarify, I want to do the audition process, so that there will be people I am certain who will be online when required, plus skills and entertainment. Plus, I don't want it to seem like Big Brother (randomly selected) As for being part of the public, I don't mind who is part of it, as long as they U2U me what they have bought.
