Default BB secured until at least BB9
Hi , i was just looking on DS:BB and found this.

Big Brother will be on air until at least 2008, even if ratings fall, according to Channel 4.

The network is currently halfway through its four-year contract with BB production company Endemol, although it's almost certain to be extended by two to three years, taking the series through to Big Brother 9 in 2008.

That suits me just fine, so long as they stick with the BB2 format and don't go changing it again.

Before BB2 Started, I saw a daytime TV programme which had Nicholas Bateman and an executive from either C4 or Endemol. They said that after BB2, it would be time to move on. That was the clearest indication that BB2 would be the Last Big Brother

Some how they went back on this.

This is a cynical manipulation of people desparate for fame, for the pursuit of profit.

It is like the cynical opportunism of theNational Lottery, preying on people's desire for financial security.
