This was on debate on yesterdays Daily Politics
BBC2HD. It costs the farmer to buy cereal to feed them it will have to be a luxury food higher cost for you. I am sure McD will try and keep their 99p/ 99€ Cheeseburger, though. They can, as pay the tax themselves not pass it on to the customer etc So sooner or later a 20% extra tax on Meat Other Europe nations will also have to do it.
