This made me laugh, so I thought I would share with you all:


Two criminal masterminds found their otherwise perfect armed-robbery plans going awry, when the shop employees they were trying to rob got the giggles.

It all began to go a bit wrong for the thieves when one of them tried to open a folding knife, shortly after bursting into the Postal Annex in Portland, Oregon. As he struggled to get the knife open, the onlooking employees assumed that the robbery was a hoax, and began giggling.

'He didn't have a serious voice to him. We thought he was kidding, so we were laughing back at him,' noted employee Shelley Martin.

Always keen for a bit of fun, the assistant manager played along with the joke, pretending to pick up the phone and call the police. It was at that point that that nefarious duo skedaddled, with their tail between their legs.

Nicole Luedtke, another employee, explained: 'We just didn't take them seriously. It was like having your kid brother come up with his cowboy and Indian thing.'

Police have yet to catch up with the pair.
