I've made this topic cos alot of older people I know tend to preffer the celeb version rather than the normal one. As the celeb one was such a disaster this year d'you think BB will loose older viewers this Summer? Normally, the ratings drop after the summer launch night and I think this may be because older people are interested after the celeb BB! It's just a theory, so don't attak me as soon as I put it on. I'm not saying it will happen!

I'm 33. Do I qualify as "older"? I've been watching BB since BB3. I only started watching CBB last year.

Age doesn't come into it.

If you are a fan of Big Brother, or the Celebrity one, then Big Brother 8 will be a worthwhile watch, as long as there is something exciting going on.

The only problem I have, is the incredible length of the show.

Three months is too, too long!

But that is my opinion.

I'm even older than Stropz and like her I only started watching CBB last year.

Out of the two I would rather watch the main BB than CBB.

I've watched all the BB's and CBB's since the start..... and I'm nearly in my 30's.....does that make me older?

Right. I meant people in their fifties and sixties, not twenties for god sake. I'm only generalizing anyway. I'm not saying it's true!

I dont get whats the big deal! bb8 is not going to have Jade in it.. or any of the housemates in that series. Complete new housemates - hopefully. My mam watches bb and she didnt care..

If someome is interested in Big Brother,whether they are 11 or 77,whether it being CBB or normal BB, makes no difference. It's all about taste, not age.

I am older as defined by you. I have watched all BB series exept BB1. Age does not come into it at all. The BB format is one you either like or hate regardless of age.

In reality BB is very much an adult format that is ruined by severe censorship in order to make it suitable for youngsters and children to watch. The motive in ruining an adult format is they know kids will throw all sorts of silly money at multiple voting. An adult formats which exploits the pockets of kiddies.......
