Big Asbro
27/04/07 A SPITEFUL teenager who has wreaked havoc with neighbours and can’t be controlled by his parents is set to go on Big Brother. Bosses have lined up an 18-year-old serial offender with an Asbo to cause mayhem on the show. And the housemates will be led to believe he is a “proper” contestant. The identity of the boy is currently being kept closely under wraps. But insiders claim he has been rapped by the courts for hurling abuse at neighbours on his estate, breaking into cars and shoplifting. His parents have admitted to the courts they find it hard to control him. But they have given their blessing for him to appear in the Channel 4 series, which begins on May 25. A source said: “The lad will be sent in with a specific mission to ruin a task we will set the housemates during the second week of the show and while they’re still settling in. “The gang will think that by losing the challenge they will miss out on a luxury treat. But there is a twist. “The newcomer must make sure they fail in order for them to win. “The teenager will be in the house for only a day. But we won’t tell the housemates and that will make them think he is a bona fide contestant. “Part of his task is to make sure they know all about his history and details about his Asbo. “That way he will create more paranoia and anxiety among the contestants.” The source added: “Big Brother isn’t going soft this year. The show always works better when we get nasty.” Big Brother bosses are finalising the line-up of housemates for the new series, which is now in its eighth year. It will be presented as usual by Davina McCall, 39, but is being sponsored this time by Virgin Media. Among those in the frame are a hunky Greek art student, a failed gay stand-up comedian, a sexy lads’ mag model, a former extra from The Bill and a boxer. |

It's hardly likely that this is true. After all, it wouldn't exactly be a shock or a surprise to the HMs if it's in the paper just now. FFS...

I hope this doesn't happen.
And anyway, aren't housemates checked to make sure they don't have criminal convictions? ASBOs could count for this. |
