Georgie was dead, Bill was just in denial. The floating kids (apart from Bev) were dead and partially eaten, he was saving them for later. He couldn't kill Bev as she wasn't afraid, so he just hypnotised her (sort of, the Deadlights are weird) and put her up there to sort out later. Bev's dad couldn't see the blood because adults can't see Pennywise or his tricks, so the homeless people would see the house on Neibolt Street as just a house.

To add to the Chapter 2 thing, I'm pretty sure I saw a quote from the director saying they wanted to secure the kids for flashbacks filming. Have you seen the original miniseries/read the book?

Saw this on Friday. A bit of a messy plot and kinda boring tbh (at least for stretches of time). Definitely not terrible though as I wasn't completely bored but it was disappointing for what I was expecting. 6.5/10 and that's maybe generous but it wasn't all bad.
