Chad's coming across so manipulative. He said "I didn't come in here looking for love" yet the first thing he said in the Diary Room was "there's four girls I could easily get downstairs". Then acting like he wasn't interested in Amelia until the date task even though he said he liked her beforehand, and then blames Amelia for the task saying "why go on a date with me if you're not interested?" clearly oblivious to the fact Amelia had no say.

It's just really uncomfortable to watch him play Amelia into his hands

I don't agree,just because he said he could get with 4 girls doesn't make him manipulative , he obviously likes Amelia and she has been giving off vibes she feels the same but is now also flirting with Sam,so I don't blame Chad for backing off,Amelia was the one who has been pressing him to say he likes her and that he needs to take her on a date, imo there is manipulation going on but not by Chad.

I think there is more to Chad than the women talk, I actually think beyond the bravado he is a nice guy, he almost looks awkwardly shy at times.

I really dont like him. He was way out of order trying to make Amelia feel bad. He has tried it on with a few women in there. Chad was on the US Bachelorette. That's what he is known for and that's the role he will play in the house to go for the showmance. 'I didn't come in here looking for love' is the exact line they use on the US Bachelorette and US Bacehlor all the time. He is so fake and could care less about Amelia. I think if you have seen him previously on those shows you will understand more. Also he was on E's Famously Single with Brandi so they have known eachother prior to the show and so I think she may have more validity for the comments she made about Chad the other night.

I don't think Chad is manipulative. His attitude was cock-sure when he went in there as he declared 4 women being fair game to him in the confidence they would be dancing to his tune.
The guy is good looking...he undoubtedly has no problem picking and choosing his women.
However...no one has shown him any interest. Amelia has certainly found him attractive but he is a bit too serious for her..all the macho suave sophistication is what he is about and however attractive this is she needs to be able to be herself..and Sam is just so much more relaxed he allows her to be herself.
Chad is the James Bond character...macho and cliched. His ego took a blow tonight as I'm sure he isn't used to being 2nd best. He didn't take it well.
As for Amelia...she has led him on a bit with the talk of going to see him and go on a date etc...but she's maybe trying to just please him and wants to keep him close but not that close. Sam allows her to be herself but has doesn't have the mature appeal of Chad...
What she really wants is the body/looks of Chad..and the fun side of Sam all rolled into one.

She's loving all the attention and is playing them both while pretending not to notice their interest or be interested in them. TBH I'm not sure what they see in her she ain't all that.
