Danan is starting to do my head in over the drinking.

Last night saying he'd love to have a drink and telling the others to shut up because they were enjoying one.

And going on at Sarah cause he wants to have someone else sober maybe?

It's really annoying.

I gave up drink a long time ago and I NEVER ever comment on someone else's drinking or tell anyone that I'm dying for a drink, it's just so rude.

Same as a reformed smoker, nothing worse.

As a problem drinker (I assume that is what you meant?) you will know that if you dont vocalise stuff like that it will end up picking a drink up

I 100% agree Paula he is a total arse, I gave up drinking almost 5yrs ago and like you I wouldn't dream of commenting on anyone elses drinking habits or attempt to advise others.
I feel it's impossible to do that, if you want to stop it has to come from within. All he's doing is jeopardising his own sobriety and alienating sarah.

ex alcoholics don't drink, problem drinkers drink.

There is a time and a place for venting, the safety of a meeting perhaps... not a reality tv show.

He is not brave he is vulnerable, the desire for a drink proves that, he should remove himself from the situation entirely otherwise he risks relapse.

I wasn't watching it properly last night but the bit I saw in the garden was him sating he really wanted a drink and derek advising and helping him to avoid it. I think he is still at the stage where he needs some assistance so think its good he can talk about it. I didnt see the interaction with sarah though so cant comment on that. Dealing with addiction is very individual, my only concern is where he is in his sobriety being around.people drinking may have been a mistake

The place to vocalise it is not when other people are drinking. That's what BB is there for and they have a psychologist they can speak to.

If he can't cope with other people drinking then he shouldn't be in there and he was calling Sarah fragile?

Think the horrible bastards need to have a bit of consideration for their leader and take up sobriety for the 3 weeks with him. Disgusting that they have the nerve to drink infront of both him and Sarah knowing the problems they've had.
