Default Conservatives rig parliament

Although this was obvious to many here is the proof that May and the DUP sought to bypass democratic process.

'Theresa May’s plan to “rig” Parliament to prepare for Brexit was hatched immediately after her general election disaster but kept secret, The Independent has learned.

The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) agreed to help the Conservatives seize control of all Commons committees – despite losing their majority – when it struck the June deal to prop the Tories up in power.

However, that crucial part of the deal, paving the way for ministers to force through up to 1,000 “corrections” to EU law ahead of Brexit, was not mentioned in the so-called “cash-for-votes” agreement.'

It's really quite sad that the Lib Dems are on three committees, whereas the DUP are on eight.

It reeks of corruption.

Ha, ha, 'a well placed source' quoted by the Independent - all the evidence needed! Whoops forgot JC used the opportunity to accuse The Tories of a power grab - that seals it then!

Even without their majority, why wouldn't the Tories run parliament? They're still the largest party, and (if I remember correctly) to match the number of seats Labour would have need the support of EVERY other party, and they'd still be one short.

Exactly! A fact - not some nonsence based on a supposedly 'well based source'.

Clearly, they don't want any. Its sad when you can no longer have a serious discussion on this channel but unfortunately its come to that.

It feels like I'm entering a school playground here more and more of late.
