I was watching bits of it on TV5Monde just now. I've not followed up on it till now, but it made interesting viewing tonight!

But in france, the war has begun, tomorrow apparently the students have decided to block schools !
The next elections are in june, and this time it's to compose the National Assembly !
All my family is in my house, it's a huge party !!!

I don't really understand the National Assembly stuff, but cool.
How come students have decided to block schools?

And woo, party! Like I said, I think this is good for France - but we will see.

Because they are not happy of the results, so they decide to block !
If tomorrow at 8:00am I see that they block my college, I come directly in my bed loool
The National Assembly is really complicated to understand: in fact each part of france (92) vote for their leader, which one represent thhis part in the National Assembly ok ?
Those people vote for the laws asked by the President.
That's why this year, as the President is from the right, the Assembly must have more "right' people in order to accept all the laws.
Yes it's hard lol

Yeah, that's well complicated. It's making me interested though - French Law sounds cool!

Anyway, I didn't realise schools could be blocked if some people weren't happy with the result! Not everyone can be pleased, can they? But you get the day off - lucky you.

yay a lot of people on national tv trated her as "politician biatch" because she's 52 ans apparently for them, she looks like hot !
That's why she had no chance to win ! But 47% is a good result but an other defeat for the socialists from 1995 to today, that's their 3rd defeat in a presidential election !

Sounds like France is going through our 70s and this bloke is their Margaret Thatcher... Maybe i'm wrong, I haven't a clue about French politics. All I know is that the French have riots/strikes all the time, and go on about how crap our food are. God I love them!
