The UK has the highest number of acid attacks per capita in the world.
How do we go about stamping out this vile practice?

A license? you mean for buying acid? If that's what you mean then I hope so. Presently you can walk legally walk around with acid, though if the police suspect you are up to no good, they can confiscate it and even make an arrest.
