Default george orwell state - is this really happening ?

highgate poetry is not good orwell (george) 02.10.17

i am starting to question
ringing is the alarm
don't want to end with a life long detention
at one flew over the cuckoos nest farm.
i am a warrior
not just in one war
the red village phone box called this courier
telling me to message board spore.
been doing it over 24 months
absolutely to my life enriching
it spread like measles and mumps
but now i am twitching.
not looking for glamour
famous peoples life's are hell
islington you hit me on sunday with a hammer
but i am no george orwell.

We don't live in the Oceania of 1984, because we still have free speech and a somewhat free market.

What do you think the referendum was for? Give it 2yrs and bojos dream of no rights, protections or free speech will transform the UK into oceania. GCHQ is already the ministry of austerity, so they'll just build on that.

All of government want that. We may think one side or the other has our interests at heart, but ultimately they are working towards the same goal.

I don't think Corbyn wants that but there's so much that budding PM's aren't privy to before they come into office. It always feels like good intentions go out of the window very quickly and all things that seemed possible become impossible.

The thing we need to wake up to is, the banks control our governments and the giant corporations control the banks. The higher you climb, the more corruption becomes legal.
