Co-creator Roger Law says he is in talks with production company Avalon to take the show stateside, and a puppet of the President has already been made. The American version of the show, popular in the UK in the '80s and early '90s, would be written by US writers for NBC, but filmed in the UK, where the puppets would also be made.
