RACHEL Johnson turned down I'm A Celebrity three times - paving the way for her father Stanley to enter the jungle.

The journalist turned the ITV show down not because of any fear of what could happen in the camp but because she couldn't bear the thought of viewers watching and waiting for her to turn into a cougar.

"I just couldn't live with the idea that everyone would be snorting with laughter as they waited for me to try to cougar one of the hunky male fitties," she wrote on the MailOnline last year.

She added: "I couldn't sleep until I'd turned the offer down for the third and final time."

Though while Rachel turned the show down, her father did not and he is current ensconced in the camp down under.

Rachel opened up about her father's impending jungle ordeal, insisting he will get through it fine after the life he has led and because he enjoys the simple things in life - like his campmates taking showers in the waterfall.
