You know my methods

A statement from Jack's agent said: “In the last few days Jack Maynard has been the subject of a succession of media stories which, given his position as a contestant on 'I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' - filmed in the Australian jungle, with no contact with the outside world, he has been unable to respond to.
"Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves, it was agreed that it would be better to bring him out of the show. "Jack agrees with this decision which was made by his representatives and ITV and thanks everyone who has supported him in the show this far.” source: Mirror "Since it is only fair that everyone should be aware of any allegations made against them and should also have the right to defend themselves" what a lot of utter bollocks, maybe if he was an MP and was accused of rape but he is a wee boy who said stuff when he was a kid its tragic |

"A source claims that Jack Maynard was removed following allegations made by The Mirror that he sent inappropriate messages to a female fan, and not because of the controversial tweets."
who decided they were inappropriate and this will be to save khan and vardy? Last edited by LeatherTrumpet; 22-11-2017 at 11:32 AM. |

The reaction to what someone said years ago is silly, although on the other hand if you're going into a show watched by millions you will know people will delve into your past. Perhaps him and his managers should have done a clean up rather than leaving everything for the media to latch on to.
The whole thing is a bit ridicolous though and what has been quoted so far isn't that horrific to read. Sent from my LG-H870 using Tapatalk |

He is Aged 22 now. So some those tweets he would have been 16 or 17 years old. |

16 is old enough though. He knew those words are offensive and he used them.

And generally a lot of immature nonsensical stuff on social media that celebrities wouldn't say on tv , I don't know why they insist on writing these things online . Last edited by GoldHeart; 22-11-2017 at 12:08 PM. |

Yes I agree but he was 16 years old, people think differently and less maturely at that age, I know I did. People grow up though (usually)

I think we can all say we've been silly and immature as kids but how many of us have said or written highly offensive stuff , so I still feel it's a cop out to use Jack's age as an excuse , and how do we know he's changed? . Itv messed up by putting him in the jungle in the first place. If they did their research they'd know there's alot of YouTubers who are up their own arse and offend alot of people and who come across as massive twts . On the other hand I'm tired of this witch Hunt that's taken place with Amir & Vardy , I'm waiting for people to find more dirt and scrutinise Jamie & Dennis next . |

this is crackers, he said what he said 6 years ago as a barely out of school, is he to be punished for the rest of his life for something foolish that he's said such a long time ago, we are all probably guilty of spouting stupid stuff when so young. The world gets worse, we've all been offended in the past but we have to 'man, woman' up and get the hell over it. Yeah it wasn't nice what he said but its 6 effing years ago, pathetic

Dan Wootton will be all over Jack like a rash about this once he gets back to the UK.
On Lorraine, Dan spoke about it and completely brushed past the rude word towards disabled people and just spoke about himself like usual. Ffs

I don't watch IAC and I don't care about Jack one way or the other but I think it's good he was kicked off the show, not because of offense or PC or anything to do with him, but because he'll have a lot of young followers and it's a good message to them, so they can see the things they do and say will have consequences.
That's the problem with social media like twitter, the anonymity of it and people thinking they can be as awful as they want and not have to face the consequences. Making examples of people like Jack show that that isn't always the case and it might make some people think twice about their actions before sending abuse to others.

She could have probably put it in a nicer way but she was talking about Honey Boo Boo who was on a reality tv show where she acted a brat and her obese mother fed her and her family spaghetti microwaved in butter and ketchup, they were insanely unhealthy and it ended up the mother was dating a child molesterer.
I wouldn't use the word fat but the kid was overweight and fed terribly.
