Default Where was Christmas

Even though I thought the guest artists last night were top drawer telly that is the only thing that made the show watchable. Simon has messed far too much with the show ( I know the ratings were falling but scrapping sing offs x tra factor and racing through the whole series). I absolutely looked forward to the final every year because the set was magical with Christmas trees and always a Christmas theme somewhere along the line. The stand out moment ever for me was Little Mixe's version of Silent Night and even people who werent religious in any way were totally wowed. I loved the finalists each singing some kind of Christmas song. I have watched the X factor since series 2 and defended it to those who adore Strictly ( I watch it most times but X factor was always my favourite) but Simon needs to pull it at this stage I think. I am beginning to think I wont bother watching anymore if this is how its going to be run. Anyone agree?
