From The Sun
PARIS HILTON and “living like a nun” are two things I never thought I’d put in the same sentence. But that’s what the heirhead is promising to do in order to avoid a prison sentence for driving while banned. The star, best known for drunken nights out and sex videos, is claiming her wildchild days are behind her. I’m sure the new leaf she has turned over will last about as long as her ill-fated attempts at imposing a sex “ban” on herself last year, but I’m willing to hear her out. The first step for the new, improved Paris was to tone down her dress. Out is the multicoloured clubbing clobber and short skirts teamed with no knickers — and in is virginal white to make her look like an angel. She has told pals that she is quitting boozing, cutting back on shopping and no longer racing around in luxury cars. Paris — who is set to begin a 45-day jail stretch in 22 days’ time — has been spotted regularly with her personal trainer and learning self-defence to face inmates who have threatened to attack her. The final piece of the jigsaw was put in place when she went to visit dad RICK in hospital with a huge home-made birthday card. A friend said: “Paris’s attorneys have insisted she live like a nun. “She has been strictly advised to stop acting like a Hollywood brat and appear more humble as they battle to keep her out of jail. “They have ordered her to show a judge she has some humility and social responsibility if she is going to get her sentence reduced on appeal. “That means no booze, no parading round in skimpy outfits, no partying. She’s got to stick with her family and take on a healthier regime.” Paris is due to check into a women-only jail by June 5, where she will be handed a regulation blue jumpsuit and be forced to share communal showers with gangs of violent inmates. I wonder how her new regime will fare faced with that lot . |

Do you think the press will give up on her a bit when she is inside?

She will turn it all to her advantage when she comes out. Probably 'write' a book, talking about her prison hell, or something like that

She will exploit this to her advantage like everything else.
More fame and more fans. Sad really |

It is definitely going to be a big media story. If it happens. There is time yet.

She's gone a bit odd. She now wears white all the time, when she always used to wear bright colours.
She's scared and desperate. The press are just going to get worse and worse once she's in there. |

There was a poll on the Dairly Mirror website and the results so far show that 94% want her locked up while only 6% wanted her free so not that many people are taken in by her little act.

And Ruth, she must be scared. She's going to prison. God knows what they'll do to her in there. |

It's not a case of wanting her to go to prison because they don't like her - it's a case of wanting her to pay for her crime (remember she flouted the law three times) in the same way that you or I would have to. Why should she get special treatment just because a few people like her? |

Well, if you get a warning (and a ban) then you have nobody to blame but yourself.
*and, yes, I know that's rich coming from me with my 3 warnings.. |
