Default Would you be opposed to them redoing old tasks and twists?

With the news of Paul Osborne from the C4 era's appointment, it got me thinking - would anyone be in favour of them redoing old tasks and twists again?

Four or five years ago I'd have been totally opposed to this, and would rather they have come up with new ideas. But after 18 years...I think the creative tank has finally run dry. CBB21 being the exception, all we're usually left with is series after series of he-said-she-said tasks and tacky derivatives of Bushtucker Trials. And as for the twists they clearly concoct an hour before broadcast...they're just embarrassing and desperate

The Bedsit is probably the exception here because they seem to do a spin-off of it on nearly every series, but what about some of the other classics? Repeated in exactly the same manner they were the first time around?

I'd definitely be up for the House Next Door again, and the Secret Garden was a lot of fun

On the tasks front...I miss the old endurance tasks like the milk one from BB7, or even The Prison. Ones with better theming. Hey, I'd even take The Box Task again tbh

I miss simple tasks where they just had to stand on the podium for as long as possible

And then the 'secret prize' was complete garbage meaning they wasted their time

I know some were decent, but I'm sure they did a task once and the prize ended up being a plastic trophy? They had a couple like that

Would have no issue with them reusing successful tasks especially those that are based on psych tests, twists I would rather they got rid of as well as f2f noms and revealing DR noms

I loved the box task, it was funny when it showed the photos when they spoke. I agree with the endurance tasks like the milk leakage, and the all night ones, like the trainspotting and icecream parlour!

Nom reveals and face to face could be quite effective - when they were rare surprises. As it's almost expected, I feel the HMs sometimes hold back, so they don't have to face too many repercussions if they are played into the house.
Me? I'd always word my noms so if they are played into the house, the others would think "wait, Mildred IS manipulative, he DID do this and that!" and nominate my way next time 8-)

They should send Makosi back in to drink Saskia's cider

Some classic twists could be redressed as new (as the bedsit was) but really I think they need to just get the basics right. Twists have failed in recent year because the core format just isn't there.

no i love throw backs

the box task would be amazing and maybe a proper house divide like bb3, with it literally split down the middle.
