I definitely think so when it comes to BB for some things, like the horrible staging covered in LEDs that C5 puts up for the stairs and eviction stage when the C4 set was simple yet stunning. There isn’t need for a housemate wall. Marcus being over the top and dramatic and taking over BBs duty of the countdown etc. when he used to just be a narrator.
ye know what I mean???

Not really, if C5 didn't put their own stamp on it, they would be accused of being lazy and not bringing anything new, they have started to revisit bringing the show back to its original format by reducing the meddling yet a lot of people seem to be unhappy that there are no shouting matches, they really is no pleasing BB fans it seems

I like the housemate wall and haven't they had that for years?

I am sure I remember Nicola wiping mud on Andrews picture

If it’s painted pictures by fellow housemates like BB6 I can get behind it because that’s cute, but if it’s overproduced pics of hms on LED screens I’m not really into it

I'm all for less Marcus. Much less Marcus.

I don't think the outdoor eviction set (at Elstree) could ever really have been described as "stunning" on C4 - it served a purpose but on the whole was a stage, a screen and the stairs. Some worked better than others, and IMO it was a mistake to move Davina outside for the entire eviction build up - hosting from the studios meant Davina presented to the viewers at home, not the Elstree mob. Personally now though I'd be happy for them to scrap the outdoor set and relocate to a studio - they can either have a fake "front of the house" like BB Canada and use a bit of a time delay to cover that up or just show the evictee leaving the house from inside the house and then either go to a break or best bits, or stick with the house feed, whilst they make their way to the studio.

i think it's got a lot better, i loved the launch without marcus though. made it a lot more bearable. as long as the housemates are good, that tasks are good and the topics don't get repetitive i can watch.

i think they need to focus on them showing us more content though, through youtube etc. just 45 minutes a day leaves me honestly wanting more?

however, i am really glad they got rid of the eye stage. the stage right now is okay, just a bit meh as it's literally just a load of screens and some bazaar stairs that they can only walk one side on??

I'll tell you right now than even if the outdoor set does change it certainly won't change back to anything resembling the C4 days... I'm not sure why this keeps being brought up as it really does nothing to add or detract from the show itself... A horrible series is a horrible series and a great series is a great series regardless of what the house or the set looks like...
