Default Watches

I have noticed that this year all the housemates have watches on. They are all identical so they must have been provided for them.
Other years they have had to rely on BB3 the cooker and BB2 a clock provided for the task , That is one change I have noticed so far. Any one else spotted anything?

Just had a thought.
Maybe they are electric tags. Can't get a good enough look at them to see if there is a watch face on them.

I remember seeing the one on Ray's (I think) wrist. It looked like a watch but didn't appear to have a face. Someone also mentioned about the clock on the cooker. Hopefully we'll find out in the next day or so exactly what it is!

I'm intrigued now by these "watches". Can't wait to find out their purpose.

You'd make a good detective, Jill. I didn't even notice them.

Howdy,

These 'watches' that you refer to are known as 'Acti-watches'. An Acti-Watch is an actigraphy-based data logger. Basically, actigraphy is a way that sleep patterns, quality, etc are assessed and monitored.

They technically record:

Sleep/Wake Patterns
Sleep Disorders
Circadian Rhythms Disorders
Basic Activity Levels
Compliance with Exercise Routines

Thar, hope that clears it up

Marky

You are right BigSister. Ray did ask what time it was and said oop's. Maybe BB has told them not to draw attention to the fact that they are all wearing the same item ( what ever they might be ).
We will no doubt find out in a later program.
Welcome dustmite.
Have we got a rival to sticks?
