Default Why are people on the left obsessed with degeneracy?

For years I couldn't understand so called "progressives". How could they decry oppression of women but embrace the hijab as a symbol of feminism? Why do they use the argument it's the woman's body on abortion but insist "grid girls" don't have the right to use their body to do their job while leaving the female porn stars employed? Why do they insist on more "diversity" for every European country on earth but never mention bringing more diversity to non-European countries? Why do they want, more and more, to tell kids that there are 40 genders, that it's normal to be a homosexual, etc. etc?

Those are some examples of many. These actions are hard to understand but I have a theory that seems to explain everything: They are obsessed with degeneracy in every form. They force it on other people to make them feel empowered.

I guess this is more of a statement of my belief than a topic of discussion but I had to vent a little. I feel better now.

Certain parts of the left I agree with, others I don’t,which is why I don’t get why it’s segregated into two sides.. tho the far left is an absolute mess and a lot of left leaning people will tell you that. I think most of your post really addresses the far left instead of everyone that calls themselves ‘progressive’

Yes, I know in the UK it is perceived as normal to be homosexual. More and more people in the States think so too but it will forever be at odds with what nature intended. I'm 99% sure this post will be removed for being insensitive or something like that. If that upsets people maybe that's because deep down they know what I speak is closer to truth than they'd like to admit.

Also on the topic of homosexuality I don’t see how you see that as degressive. The amount of people who are primarily gay are hugely outnumbered and sure in the most literal sense it’s ‘not normal’ and optimal since you can’t reproduce ect but what do you propose we do about it? Why not let these people live in society as normal people? Conversion therapy has proven not to work, being gay isn’t a choice so if it were to be glorified it doesn’t do anything to people’s sexuality

I'm all for tolerance and letting other people find what makes them happiest but demanding that society see them as normal (legalizing gay marriage, teaching it in schools, etc. etc.) is not going to make them any happier. To be honest, I feel that the majority of homosexuals are that way because of the hormones that were put in their food and water and that they consumed as kids. Maybe what they saw on the television played a role.

Gay people aren’t even really on tv and if they are you can’t tell or they conform the stereotype

Tho there may be truth in the food thing, that one chemical that apparently 88% of teenagers had in them that mimicked eastrogen in the body and was linked to prostate cancer. Tho homosexuality is documented in nature and in history too so I doubt it has that much to do with chemicals (just eat well, kids! The distance food companies will go to ensure maximum profit at the expense of your health!)

Accepting LGBT people isn't left or right, no1 currs.

But yeah, advocating for high immigration from islamic countries is just stupid if you want a functioning, accepting society; as is flying the flag for things like hijabs.

That's not really accurate is it

The performing arts area probably has the highest proportion of gay people across any vocation

------

Nature shouldnt be categorised into right or wrong or normal and not normal and it can't be, it's called diversity. Is a blue flower right and a yellow flower wrong?

Nature produced left and right handed people, red haired, blonde, brunette .... all different and all equally correct

The actors or directors might be gay but the roles themselves rarely include gay people idk this is coming from a gay person that watches a LOT of tv

Tho I ageee with the rest of your post

You lost me at food & water manipulating people's sexuality and decisions . I was going to highlight some of your comment but I'll just talk about it . TV can influence people but surely you make your own mind up ? but I know what you're saying.

Food and drink CANNOT be that powerful, the most reaction you'd get from food is a sugar rush or hyperactive behavior . Or frequent trips to the dentist due to tooth decay , or other health problems .

I agree with some of what you're saying, and I do feel we live in a very PC culture where you must accept everything & everyone no matter what.

And things can go too far , and I've seen a video from Canada where they're pushing agenda's so much so that it's more like a brain washing cult rather than just accepting people .

And people are being bullied into conforming to these aggressive ways .
Common sense tells you that if you shove something down people's throats they will only dislike it more and it will upset them .

And that goes for extreme vegans who guilt trip meat eaters into thinking they're murders , not all vegans behave that way but there's some angry crazy vegans out there .

I hate radical thoughts .

I agree with you on the ‘progressive’ left.More regressive than anything.

Not on homosexuality though. If you look throughout history you’ll see that it is normal.
It’s been documented in ancient Greece(spartans were pretty well known for it),Ancient Rome,India,Samurai in Japan and possibly ancient Egypt.I’d bet it’s been around since the dawn of mankind.
Imo it’s just natures way of trying to keep the population down.Although it hasn’t really worked.

Empowerment is only an argument when it suits a narrative, right?

And it’s not like most of these women are forced to wear hijabs or anything or the religion they follow doesn’t respect women

Hmm

Probably about as much as anyone has to support the theory that most are forced to wear it...
