Default Chants?

Back in BB7 there was A LOT of chants. Get Grace out, aisleyne out, and the odd group of losers doing get pete out, richard out, blah blah.

Do you think they should be banned in BB8?
Because for me, it really did ruin eviction nights, and it ruined it for the housemates aswell. Grace and Aisleyne were both traumatised, and both new what their reaction would be, and therefore both new they had no chance of winning.

I with you about the chants ruining eviction nights and the booing really is getting boring now but I can't see how they can stop it. Look people reactions to house mates on here, people either love them unconditionally like super stars or hate them. These are extreme reactions towards people on here don't even know. I couldn't care less about Grace and Aisleyne, but I do agree that something needs to be done so house mates don't have an idea of how the public perceive them.

No we should definately have crowd noises while Davina is speaking.
Maybe the odd 'we love you whoever'
But NOT full crowd chants. I think the crowd should be told and warned not to do it.

I dont care about Aisleyne either to be honest, but it ruined part of the game,so yeah I agree with you mostly.

Agreed.

Maybe they should get Big Brother to do the eviction inside the house rather than having Davina talk to the house.

Just stick Davina back in the studio, with friends and family cheering, reather than the jealous chavvy girls who take time out of robbing the local tesco to come and boo the people in the house

I think that the crowd should be warned and everything before they go on air.
Tbh I think that the bit where she reads out the names and the crowd cheers or boo's it ruins the suprise...

We end up knowing who is gonna go way before they announce it!

I love the boos, that's the particular thing of BBUK, it rocks ! Imagine evictions with only cheers, it will be so boring like BB Australia ! And I'm glad Aisleyene has been traumatised LOL

Not the booing and cheering. Just the chants

I hate the chanting and booing too.... there is no need for it. It spoils the eviction night.

I don't mind them, as long as the housemates don't hear them. The answer is to do the first show out with the crowd but move inside for the announcements.

My favorite chant ever though was "She's coming home, she's coming home, She's coming, Grace is coming home."

I agree, the crowd concept just doesn't work anymore. There has always been the odd 'boo' but in BB7 the chants got far too extreme.
I think they need to rethink the whole idea!

I love the chants, it's amazing ! really it makes the evictions really hot and it brings conflict in the house ! The chants exist since the beginning, it's a major part of BB !

grace could only hear them so clearly last year because it was the golden ticket night and they were in the garde. Aisleyen prob did hear bits but it would only have been bits, not the whole crowd chanting like....

It doesn't make great tv if you like the two housemates that are being chanted at!

Tbh I rememver Makosi's eviction interview, and I found it uneasy too watch.
I felt so sorry for her, the whole crowd was chanting "Get off get off" or something like that, I didnt enjoy that one bit, i dont mind the small chants but chants like that are just cruel.

As much as I love Grace, that was funny! And I agree its ok if the housemates cant hear it.
But Susie's entrance with Get Grace Out night, was terrible.

Don't forget please...it's a game show, the public is the only master of the game ! The "liar liar" from Makosi's eviction was a great tv moment, the famous "get grace out" and "aisleyne out" were too ! If you watch Big Brother it's because you accept what's happening, good or bad things, that's the game, it's all !

That was too far I agree and Davina got into abit of trouble for that interview too, since then, she's always protected the housemate from the boos some what allthough I do find that she does it more wuth some than others which is quite unproffessional in my opinion!

I think davina should talk to the house from a sound proof room. lol

So that the housemates cant hear the crowd cheering or booing them.
