Default this friday it's King's Day in Holland
this time our King Willem Alexander and the other dutch royalties visit the city of Groningen





i am gonna watch this on the telly again



so some busy schedule our royalties have

Friday king's day

May 4th: memorial of world war victims

May 5th: liberation day here in holland, with liberation concert

May 4th is also really lovely, 2 minutes of silence to remember and pay our respects to all fallen soldiers during world war II who helped liberate our country and fight against the germans


also poems from children each year (they have a poem contest at schools here, and the best poem is chosen for that boy/girl to read it out loud to everyone)

our dutch Princesses are so damn hot wow


princess Ariana, princess Amelia princess Alexia are the 3 daughters of Willem Alexander & Maxima


our dutch national team coach Ronald Koeman is also here, who is a born groninger

some teens are teaching the Princesses how to race with the drones

quite funny and lovely to see



also a banner which says with Talent and Innovation, Renovation is our future


lots of games being played there, volleyball, football

only a shame the boring commentator Astrid Kersseboom with her monotone voice has to ruin the fun (at least for me)




now we switch to a sorority called Vindicat, infamous high school sorority here in holland, but also the place where many of our dutch royalties went to school



and we also get to see the Martini Church (a very famous place in Groningen)

ooh, a painting battle between 2 children, money raised is for KiKa (a charity against children's cancer)

now a club owner Guy Weizman (born in israel, lives in groningen) owns a nightclub called Club Guy & Bar

he had a speech for the royalties ''my friends welcome in my town and our town groningen''


MartiniChurch now, an orchestra is playing several songs there
