I was just thinking, since I've missed a couple of 'prediction game' predictions (namely, the football one BigSister runs), that it would be a good idea if it were at all possible to implement a feature that reminds you to post your predictions - or indeed to post at all in some other form of game - at a set time?

I know in the example I've given that, usually, joeysteele takes it upon himself to send out reminder PMs to most players but it'd be handy and more dependable should, for example, Joey forget or be too busy one time.

Not sure how it'd work because it would require someone making sure deadlines are set but it'd be useful I think. Off the top of my head, Calderyon and his Big Brother nominations/evictions prediction games, and the big Chat and Games "tasks" would benefit from it, too.

Yeah, I saw this before. It would be tricky to implement. I mean the football matches are all at different times, for example.

I know this forum's setup is nothing like Reddit but I've seen bots on there that, when someone posts, say, "RemindMe! 7 days" it'll give them a notification in 7 days (or whatever limit you set) by replying to them.

I don't know how that could be implemented though since it'd effectively require a bot account to automatically send out PMs
