The Apprentice is now averaging at 5.3 million, 1 million up on last year but last week's football put a dent into its average, on this Wednesday, a further dent will be made by both BB and BSA.

Close between The apprentice and the soap awards but I guess a lot of people already know the winner's of the soap awards so that might have an effect on the viewing figures.

Friday night might also be a problem for BB as England are playing Brazil, I'll probably end up watching that.

Big Brothers biggest competition is the Apprentice and the soap awards. But with people knowing the soap award results and the apprentice not geting anywhere near the 7/8 million viewers which Big Brother launch night gets, it looks like Big Brother will come out on top.
