According to BBC breakfast one of todays papers reports that this series of big brother will be pulled off air by police if it gets even a bit out hand, due to cbb5's fiasco. This means no bb5 style more fight nights.

Agreed but this doesnt sound like a lie to me, because they did investigate the tapes for months.

what they mean is really serious really angry agressive behaviour such as fight night........ i think things like the richard vs imogen and sezar sort of thing wont result in the end of the show

tbh the producers arent going to let this happen for 3 reasons

1 In BBAU last year there was sexual assault and it was told by the PM OF OZ to stop filming, but low and behold they are running it this year.

2 The producers will have top top legal advisers, they will know now when its entertaining and when its more serious

3 No charges were made on the racism front, the police did not find any evidence of racism.

I wouldnt be worried...... although it probably means that bb8 will be more like bb4

i cant believe all the fuss wih this big brother over celeb big bro in january it was all class based and it was nothing compared to bb5 with the big fight but because of our olitical correctness i have a feeling this big brother is going to be tame and like bb4 when cameron won it which i felt was a bit to calm i just so hope im wrong

this police thing is a joke, police do not sit in peoples homes and watch what they say. it is after 9, they know what the prgram could entail. this is a nanny state, you cannot do anything without being watched. leave them to it, this is basicall totally against the point of bb. they can do or say almost anything, that is not being allowed anymore. we want to see these epoples true identity, will thios new police thing just hide that...

BIG BRO'S POLICE SQUAD

A SPECIAL team of police officers will watch the latest Big Brother for racism and violence - and could even stop the show.

Housemates' behaviour is to be scrutinised by the squad who will arrest offenders, even if the programme is live.

The move, condemned last night as a waste of money and manpower, follows the racist bullying of Shilpa Shetty on Celebrity BB in January.

A police source said: "No hint of that will be tolerated. If necessary, we'll visit the studio to apprehend housemates."

Big Brother 8, presented by Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary, kicks off on Channel 4 tomorrow night.

I think it is also important to remember that they can not just pull the plug on the spot - they will have to get court orders to do so, which can take time when you consider that Endemol would appeal etc...
