Default Steam Summer Sale

How bad did you do this year? What did you buy?...

My husband surprised me with Stardew Valley (I'm a Harvest Moon fan)... and he also bought Fall Out 4 plus the expansion. He also bought both of us a copy of Grim Dawn now to play together later.

Stardew does rip off of Harvest Moon quite a bit, but I still really like it. It has it's own flavor. They also took away a lot of the feeling of repetition from the series, it feels a bit more organic and indie-y... but not so intense as the Rune Factory series with the story-driven progress and deeper character development. It is much more accessible than those series I think...

I literally couldn't find anything that interests me that I don't already have in my Steam library from past sales .

I got Stardew on Switch because it seems like a portable game, and I feel it was a pretty good choice. Now I can water my parsnips whilst taking my morning poop instead of posting on TiBB.
