Default What is the slowest thing in the world?

My random mind has been thinking about what is the slowest thing in the world. After a lot of thought I have narrowed it down to four specific things but I can't narrow it down any more. Feedback would be appreciated. Here they are in no particular order:

1. A snail gliding across a leaf.

2. A turtle walking on the beach.

3. A sloth moving from branch to branch.

4. The British government giving the public what they voted for in the EU Referendum.

......well slowly makes fascinating to watch does it not, Liberty...I mean the great about these things is that they get to ‘the otherside’ or that they get to their destination ...the snail glides across that leaf carefully and because it’s careful it gets to the next leaf...and the next leaf...it survives the crossing..?....and the turtle walks slowly across the beach because that clever old turtle has survived all of those sharks and all of those predators that wanted to try to prevent his/her beach walk...but that turtle was too clever for them so that beach walk is going to be thoroughly enjoyed with every slow step...and the sloth...?....why rush from branch to branch, why expend all of that energy...why not swing slowly from those branches because swinging branches seems like a fairly enjoyable thing..?...and you know...when a vote is to be great again, to achieve that greatness that the whole EU are envious of..(...maybe..)...to be individual and amazing again....and etc, etc...?....we’ll rushing in might create hazards, so better to take a little more time and get that greatness right...it’s not the time the travelling takes but that the destination is reached...that’s quite important wouldn’t you say...?...better to get there in the end to those great places than to not get their at all, I reckon.....behave yourself.....

...yeah I would say what Marsh said though...a slow loading computer serves no purpose at all...it doesn’t risk any hazards or whatever by loading quickly and rushing itself along...so just throw it out of the window when it drags itself slowly loading the programme...and worry about the consequences of that tomorrow....enjoy and absorb the moment of satisfaction while you can...

...I was thinking, my random thoughts...inspired by your thread and your question...?...has made me think of Martin Luther King’s, I had a dream speech......he had a dream, an amazing dream of greatness...that 4 little children would one day live in a nation, in a world where there would be no judgement because of skin colour...because of beliefs or culture etc ...was one of his dreams...his great world and his great country that he was aiming for and hoping for..?....well that’s kind of still evolving slowly...and with every progression and change in equality...a little bit closer maybe...?...sadly great dreams can often take very slow steps...but if ‘great’ happens, if ‘great’ is achieved and if dreams become a country or world reality...then the time of the journey is something that’s been very worth while...

...sometimes in the early morning in particular...I’ll be typing a big long post or a big long PM with my random thoughts...and when I’m just getting to the end and trying to hold all of those thoughts in place before I lose them and lose my train, etc...(...because I’m really quite slow at typing and a nightmare in going off in different directions with my random thoughts...)....anyway, James will come along trying to make TIBB as great as he can with his little tweaks and adjustments etc....he can be an early morning person himself...it often causes me to lose my whole post or PM...which really is frustrating and annoying.....but the thing of it is though...as frustrating as it can be for me...?...what he’s doing is helping to achieve a little step forward in making TiBB a little bit easier, a little bit more beneficial...a little bit better terms for us all..?...because isn’t that what Brexit was hoping for, essentially...we’re pretty smart cookies here in the U.K...only fools would rush in to something so important, so life and country changing because this is a forever deal in the making....

An elderly couple walking side by side holding hands on a thin pavement with no room to pass them.

Anyone who claims there's anything slower is flat out lying.

Definitely number 4.

Struggling to bridge the 52% & 48% together to get a good compromise has been an incredibly slow process to make sure that the UK isn't in ruin.

Oh god you've just reminded me of one of my Mcdonald's experiences.

Me and my Brother were carrying some of the Mcdonald's food home in blistering heat, and this young couple blocked the whole pavement holding hands, so me and my Brother just ran past them and I gave them a little tut noise. They was so rude as there were loads of us trying to get past them and they were too busy playing Snow White and Prince Charming.
