Here's my story
It was amazing i was joking with Lesley this morning that Darius would be on my flight home because he is playing at the secc tonight and that of course if he saw me and andy he would want to sit with us
Ok so here's the story
Andrew and i were at the front of the que speaking to an elderly lady and she was asking what we did in london so we were telling her that we had been at the Darius concert and he was fantastic at that i looked down to the back of the que don't know what made me do it but i did
I had to do a double take and i said to Andrew look and he said mum it is Darius
I said omg and the lady we had been speaking to said go say hi to him i will look after your bags i was not going to go but she pushed me and andy and said GO!!
So we set of to the bottom of the que
When Darius spotted us he gave a big grin and said hi by this time i was shaking like a leaf and i have never been like that before when meeting Darius
I was that bad that spencer, darius' guitarist, asked me if i had been drinking to much last night lol
And i said cheeky no and karl, the drummer, said it's Darius that's making her that way lol
Darius asked Andrew if he had come all the way from scotland just to see him Andy said yes at that Darius shook Andys hand and said thanks mate
Then grabed me and gave me a big hug and a kiss
Darius then asked do you have a camera and i said yes i only took 50 pics last night and he said omg 50 pics
I said yes i had 3 spoils but only used 2 (someone up there must have been telling me to keep the other)
I tried to to set the camera up but i was shaking that much spencer said give it to me i will do it for you (what a sweety)
Darius then took one look at me and gave me another hug and said stop shaking i won't bite lol
Time for the photos we took some pics thanks to spencer and thanked him for his time
And made our way back to the begining of the que where the elderly lady was standing smiling at us saying how lucky are you 2 to meet your idol after being at the concert the night before
By this time i was a wreck and could not believe how lucky i was
Andy was not much better he just kept saying mum Darius mum Darius lol
We then boarded the plane thinking that would be the end of our encounter with Darius
But lady luck was smiling on Andy and me
When Darius boarded the plane with the band John, spence and Karl sat 1 seats up from us on the other side of the isle and James sat beside 2 other people in front of us and Darius sat beside us omg
Here is some of the questions asked by andrew me and Darius
He asked if we enjoyed the concert last night
He asked us what ones we had been to and what had been our favourite
What we though of the songs on the next singles
Kept thanking us for supporting him
we asked him his favourite venue
He was telling us he going home to play in box tour
He asked when we had arrived and where we had stayed
We spoke about a few other things nothing to do with the tour or sites
Then he asked if i minded him having a sleep
I said no so he shut his eyes and went off to sleep and a few times my shoulder got used as a pillow but i did not mind at all lol (Darius slept beside me )
Andrew spoke to some of the band for a while when Darius was having a sleep and got there autographs
When we were coming in to land Darius woke up and shared his sprite juice with andrew and i and told us to keep the rest there was about quarter of a bottle left
I forgot to say when he sat down he put his hood up i don't think he wanted to be reconised by to many people that's understandable having had no sleep lol
He thanked us again got our bags out of the luggage box over head gave me another kiss and hug ruffeld Andys hair and said cheers mate
The rest of the band said there goodbye
This has to be one of the best days of my life just goes to show miracles do happen
