Default Why does credit card company keep asking me to do a balance transfer

All I get from this credit card are letters saying I should take up their offer of transferring all my debts on other credit cards and store cards over to their credit card.

%0 Transfer

%0 Interest for 25 months.

But I don't have any debts. But even if I did, what would they get getting out of it???????

Thanks.

Because credit cards are a product really and they constantly try to push that product on you, want you to use it more etc like all other companies

it's quite simple really. People who have a balance on their cards earn them money. Even if they offer you a 0% interest rate for a bit, at some point they will get interest on the balance rather than their competitor.

Also, people that have a balance on cards and dont pay it off are exactly the customers that they want.

I know it's beneficial to me but for them it's a gamble.

Ah I see they think I won't pay it off.
