The ratings are higher than they have been in recent years and recent eps are going to increase more and more with official +7 ratings being put into it, Endemol’s plan of sprucing the format up to make it appealing for a new broadcaster is actually working? to think in 2014 itv had their eye on BB and wanted to take over it (which they couldn’t because of the contract renewal and that’s how Love Island 2.0 was born) and the ratings are trying to creep up to that level again, there will be definite interest in it by other broadcasters who will hopefully take the current state which is moving more and more C4-sequels and do it properly from the get go instead of C5 basically torturing the format for 7 years
