Supposed to be an ex stand-up comedienne....

Then why do I want to cry every time I see her miserable face???

She looks like Prue Leith and is quite the outcast from the group at the moment.... Wont last long, I hope!

There is something of a mystery about Leslie. She wondered why anyone would watch BB and she also said that she had hardly ever watched it herself .Surely these aren't the motivations to audition for the show, so why is she there ??
Anyway I'm sure she will get into the swing of it, and it can be daunting for anyone of a different age to the majority.

I just find it hard to believe that she used to be a comedienne....

Standing up on stage to tell jokes in front of an audience requires a LOT of self confidence.... and she doesn't seem to be convincing enough for my liking....

I don't think she fits in at all!

Ooh I thought last night she owned that show!.. All her one liners.. disapproving looks, for me she was the highlight.. keep her in I say!

She looked a little lost and overwhelmed at times last night, but thats hardly surprising giving that she's about 3 times older than most of the other housemates. But she's not stupid either, the whole "producers promised me that bed" thing was worth a try (and might have worked with some of the housemates) and she has already warned us in her VT that she has no problem turning on the tears to get what she wants.

I'm liking her at the moment, she was genuinely funny in some parts last night. I can see her and Carole having some great moments together.

Oh and she was apparently a stand-up in Portugal!

AWw Isnt that all part of it though!.. the bed was hilarious, especially when Charlie wanted it and Leslie replied .. 'thats my bed.. you seem disapointed' .. *****ing hilarious!.. and I think her and Laura will become good friends! It must be a complete culture shock for her too and I think shes trying quite hard to fit in when you think about it!.. Give her time! hehe

I can't make up my mind about her?

She was asserting her authority at the beginning well there is no doubt about that. The only person who appeared to question the bed bit was Laura? No one else made a single comment to her did they? She was certainly attempting to be Queen Bee in that respect BUT I think it was the wrong move. If she had mucked in with the youngers girls then like Carole has, she would now be part of that group too instead of looking on which she now seems to be doing.

I'm not sure the public will take to her but I would like to see her last for a while as we need some antagonists to cause conflict and make the show more watchable.

She Lied last night about saying that the bed was hers and Laura did not believe it but she ended up getting it anyway, when she said she's not watched the show much made me think, why is she there? she doesn't watch the show, my opinion changed on her last night.

Helping herself to the champagne as soon as she got in, meaning Carole never got any and nicking the strawberries from the fridge as soon as it was unlocked.....

I thought some of the things she did last night were selfish, I'm not keen on Carole but she at least deserved 1 glass of Champagne. People will say she's 60 years old but age doesn't come into it, i got called a idiot last night just for saying she lied, so what she did.

She's a bit lost in there at the moment, wouldn't be suprised if she's never watched Big Brother in her life! I doupt the production team said that she could have the single bed. If she lied, she's incredibly selfish.

Davina said on the opening show that she was an ex-standup, and I saw a website somewhere (yeah, how vague is that lol) that said she had done stand-up comedy in Portugal as well.

I don't see how lying about the bed is selfish though. She tried her luck and apart from Laura, no one else seems to have had either the balls or the gumption to challenge her on it. Good on her I say, hopefully she will do plenty more lying to mess with the housemates heads. Most of them in there would be so easy to mess with.

I like Lesley because she is different from the rest. How can you tell all those plastic girls apart? I can see the use for one to represent a plastic, shallow girl, but the only reason BB put in 7 is that their viewing audience are mainly common youngsters, who identify with this type of shallowness. Even if you dislike Lesley for being 'boring' (which I cannot see), she is certainly unique watching. It is always fun viewing an outcast. This shows some interesting human behaviour, rather than the usual what I call boring transparent girls with their gorgeous bodies, but nothing else.
