The Big Brother housemates have been frolicking in the garden after they were given masks to help them complete their task.


They are in the middle of an attempt to power a pedalo for 72 hours - and were given eye masks in case they need to catch up on their sleep during the day

But the contestants decided to try on the masks in the garden for a bout of schoolyard games, including piggyback fighting.

A Big Brother spokeswoman said: "They're all having a bit of a laugh with them. They're enjoying a frolic in the sun."

The housemates began pedalling on Sunday and Big Brother will announce the task result at the end of the 72 hours, on Wednesday.

Oh that's what the masks were for then. I saw them on the live E4 show and couldn't work out why they had been given them. Big Brother is being a bit nice!

They seemed to be quite useful, considering that the bedroom lights are switched on at 9am. I wonder if they will have to hand them back after the task has finished.
