It really irritates me that the voting public eliminate interesting housemates. Whilst Anamelia was showing her worst self in the first week, surely viewers would want to see her either improve on it, or become so bad that she just had to go. Instead of people voting out the most boring for your entertaining pleasure, you kick out the most interesting this far?

In conclusion, we need to be more strategic and vote based on who we want to be entertained by and not who we 'dislike'.

Different people find different things entertaining. For many they wanted to see some of the other housemates, rather than just Amamelia all the time. However, as it turned out she seemed to be calming way down over the last day or so, so it seems we would have seen the others anyway.

I agree with the overall point though, about keeping the ones bringing drama and that. However, not everyone finds drama entertaining Also people seem to make out like its some brand new thing, when ever since the first BB, the louder ones have gone early on really. Such is a format that penalizes housemates for not fencesitting.

I agree with you, but sadly Housemates like Akeem, Sian, and Kay will be the contenders to win whilst the more unlikeable people but also more entertaining Housemates such as Anamelia, the two Lewis's, Isaac, and Cameron will all fail to win/one of them has already gone.

Members in general preach the 'save the entertaining ones', but I bet if Lewis G was up with Sian and Kaye that would go out the window and the 'Get Lewis G Out' campaign would be made. But every year we get threads about how the public have made the wrong choice and voted out 'the entertainment'..but this totally ignores the fact that different people find different things entertaining anyway Some would like the in your face brashness of Anamelia and Lewis G. Others prefer quieter more intelligent housemates and debate type situations rather than screaming matches. So 'entertainment' is sooo subjective

It’s more involved with that. I’d be fine with Lewis g staying until the end if he had someone to amply challenge him, which is why I was fine with anamelia since she had plenty of people to shut her down and create interesting dynamics with. Now with Lewis and Issac nobody outside of Lewis f has shown they’ve had the capacity to challenge those two being in the highlights talking about who they wanna bang and flicking elastic bands at people for 45 minutes.

I get that people find different things entertaining and that Anamelia's style of entertainment won't appeal to everyone.

However what the public should've looked at was that out of the people that were facing eviction, Anamelia was trying to be entertaining, trying to get the fans discussing her behaviour and debates about if she's an attention-seeker or just simply misunderstood and harshly treated. Then we go to Kay and Sian who so far have not tried to be entertaining in any shape or form, no humour, no arguments, no winding up, no backstabbing, no interesting social conversations, just nothing and yet they stayed over someone that was trying to give something to the series and as a BB fan I find the result disgraceful personally.

But thats basically telling other people what they should vote for? Like, many don't actually like the put on attention seeking stuff. I get where you are coming from, as I do tend to prefer that to wallflower types...a lot do find OTT behavior boring to watch

My problem is that the voting public don’t think like this and just vote outthe entertainment because they personally don’t like them and don’t look ahead. That’s literally my only problem. You could argue she was ruining the series and I could believe it, but that isn’t what the average voter thinks of, and it has a tendency to ruin series

We all have big characters that we don't get the hype for, I personally wasn't in love with Anamelia like a lot of this Forum were, but I appreciate her for trying to bring something to the table over Kay and Sian bringing zero to the table.

And tbh the aim of the programme is to get obviously bland people out the door, it's what BB tells people to do, I didn't make the rules of the show up or the rules of TV for that matter.

Just to go on a bit of a tangent for a second, it would be like the public having a choice to kill off a few characters on Game Of Thrones and Tyrion, Cersei, and Arya were picked to get killed, it would make the show so much duller, so why on earth do viewers go into an attitude on BB to save a Jon Snow who is less popular than those characters on GOT? It's bizarre to me that being dull is rewarded on Reality TV whilst other genres encourage entertainment.

Since when? The ultimate aim of BB tbh is a popularity contest. If it was about getting rid of obviously bland people, then it would be vote to save, with the whole house up each week. Which would generally get rid of the quieter ones very early on.

All TV Shows are made to entertain people, so having a house of people doing absolutely zilch is not what Endemol had in mind when making BB imo, every show needs interesting heroes and villains yet the BB voters always take down their "villains" well before the final or the first chance that they get.

Tbf it makes your posts more balanced being able to see both sides of the argument, it's just personally I do feel losing big characters within the first three weeks will make for a poor year and it goes against the grain of the show imo.

Just look at how CBB22 relied so heavily on Hardeep to single-handedly carry the year once Natalie left.

I lost interest in CBB, oddly enough due to how overbearing Natalie was. Whilst generally preferring the obnoxious louder housemates, she just really grated on me something rotten

I watched like 2 episodes around the Roxanne thing, but couldn't get back into it at all.

Maybe people don't want to see another Helen Wood win...if it wasn't for the golden ticket she would have been gone in the first 5 weeks. Then towards the end she started being all nice and forgiving and the gullible public fell for it...and people felt she deserved it because of the drama she bought...but she was a vile bit of work and people don't want to run that risk maybe. Ana wasn't vile but she was too much mememe and camera hogging...fake as ****.
