[Poundland to stop selling kitchen knives
in all stores following toy blade criticism The decision comes after critics said toy blades being sold for Halloween could make children think it is normal to carry a knife.] [The budget retailer says the utensils will be off shelves in all 755 of its outlets by the end of next month - and that the decision came after "thoughtful reflection about concerns raised by both communities and colleagues".] https://news.sky.com/story/poundland...icism-11508950 They do sell solid knives that can kill for a pound Last edited by arista; 26-09-2018 at 09:57 AM. |

Selling fake knives for Halloween may make children think stabbing someone is okay? I think children aren't as stupid as they think. Also, are they helping by banning the sale of kitchen knives? If someone really wants to stab someone they can break a bottle.

My daughter has been asking to go as a ghost but now I'm worried that she'll get the idea that it's OK to haunt people. It's never OK .

I bet the price of kitchen knife manufacture has gone up to £1.50 and they don’t want to admit it.
More plausible than Halloween + Toy knives = kitchen knife stabbings(or whatever they’re saying) |
