Default 3 weeks in: BB18 Or BB19?

So we're pretty much 3 weeks into the series Now. This time last year we had Fight night 3, Followed by Lotan's Ejection.

Based just on the first three weeks, Which do you prefer?

Bb18 was far more interesting housemate wise. It’d be 100x better than this series if the production was on par with it. Chanelle on the plane task oml

This series all day long. The housemates weren’t even that great last year.

BB19 >>>>

Some of the HMs in BB18 really sucked, and also the production was so awful and rigged last year.

Production (consistent nomination/better tasks) is far superior this year. But the housemates aren't great... I don't find anyone particularly likeable or interesting. Prefer BB18 between the two for that reason.

Bb19 is so meh housemate wise and so many horrible people and bb18 had that too but also had very clearly likeable people too like the agboola sisters, Isabelle, Raph, Chanelle and even Tom and Kieran (the divide honestly made them look worse than they are, imo Charlotte Tom and Kieran all showed themselves to be very likeable people), also with bb18 more big events happened whereas were yet to have any this series. This time last year was fight night 3 and the best we’re yet to get are the few kinda one sided Kenaley kickoffs. Also bb18 has underrated gems like sue, Simone and sukhvinder

Having said this I actually think last year had a better cast tbh. Only ones I didn't like were Joe, Kayleigh & Raph

I absolutely adored Chanelle and Isabelle so perhaps I'm a bit biased but based on the first 3 weeks of both series I'd say BB18

The start of BB18 was all about Lotan & Ellie, had Marnie Simpson and Kayleigh and that horrendous people housemate twist by faaaarrr BB19 has been better. The only better thing last year was Sukhy’s iconic exit (up until this point of the series, anyway)

I will weigh in on certain aspects:

These are the winning points of BB18:

- Far better female cast than BB19
- The final 4 housemates actually ended up being 4 of the most present HMs who all delivered at one point or another.

BB19:
- Better production
- Better and more original tasks
- Much better male cast than BB18
- Old school nomination process

So, BB19 wins so far.

Everything about BB19 screams consistency and well produced. BB18 was good, but the production wasn't that good.

Yeah but the start also had Arthur's One week Wonder, Chanelle vs Kayleigh, The Divide and Fight Night 3

19.

18 wasn't terrible, but it's plagued by constant unnecessary twists, manufactured drama, and up there with 15/16 as far as poor production goes. It also had so many horrible people and some poor casting with very little actual regular personalities. Even my favourite was likely accepted based on drama with a housemate already in there.

19 has a much better flow to it. There's no random VTS --> VTE switch just because of a housemate being removed, almost no manufactured housemates, a variety of fleshed out personalities, and some great memorable tasks that are usually straightforward and easy to enjoy; all things 18 suffers from

EDIT: Even if this is only going by the first three weeks, I'd still prefer 19 because any series that had Marnie Simpson enter for nearly a week deserves scorn.
