I'm sure I read something that suggested that people who are insecure in that way, do often post pictures of themselves in the hope that they get assurance from others about their looks.

Not unusual for good looking people to be insecure about their looks.
Could be his ears or nose or any amount of stuff he could be insecure about.

He said this? I recall him bigging himself up as physically attractive more than once (pretty sure he said it in his VT and said something along the lines of how Lewis G would be happy to take out the good looking guy) so that's a load of bull

When people start looking at a said persons Instagram who is simply in The Big Brother House...its a bit odd

Every year the housemates intagrams, twitter and stuff are posted and discussed if relevant

IIRC, it was a fan who posted the instagram anyway. With the intention of letting everyone know how 'hot' Lewis was (as if people don't have eyes )
