DUMB? JUST EXCITABLE

THE gran of "dumb and dumber" twins Samantha and Amanda last night hit back at critics and said: "They're just excitable teenagers."

The pair have been ridiculed for their Barbie doll looks and brainless comments.

But Irene Marchant, 75, said the 18-year-olds - who call themselves The Twincredibles - are typical of girls their age.

She said: "They are both lovely. All that shouting and screaming they do is exactly what they are like when they get excited.

"It's not an act. They are like that when they come to see me, screaming 'nan, nan'."

Mrs Marchant, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs, said the pair were angels when she was recently in hospital.

And she reacted angrily to suggestions they would happily share a BB hunk.

She fumed: "All that stuff about them both having the same boy and him not knowing the difference, it's not right. It's rubbish. They're not those type of girls."

She also revealed the twins - who always dress the same - used to clash over their outfits when they were younger.

Thats exactly what i saw it as

They were bound to be excited on the first night,they were going into BB!! They have gotten calmer now which is good. Hopefully people will start to see them as housemates rather than sqeualing teenage twins.
