![]() Found this super interesting. Basically all the stereotypes are true because thats the way our brains are.

Most of their brains probably look midway between a typical right brain and a typical left brain. Maybe, idk!

Maybe. They did say that genes were largely responsible for these enlarged parts of the brains though, but maybe to some extent.

where are all these claims coming from. what is the source and reason for this data?
because it sounds like liberals are younger, no mortgage, no kids no stake in society and therefore can afford to be idealistic ? |

So only you can bring stereotypes into serious debates and make mocking jokes in a thread. When someone else does it, you suddenly get very defensive.

Can’t help trying to resolve conflict, whilst righties cant help being fearful and anxious - yeh thats what fmri scans have shown.
But i suppose that all adds up, if you have an enlarged part of the brain that tries to resolve conflict you would go more left politically, to parties that also try to help the less fortunate. And if you had an enlarged part of the brain that is feels fear, you would go more right to the parties that look for enemies. Im just surprised how it all ties in with brain differences, would've thought politics was more social conditioning.

It can probably be either. There are obviously some compassionate conservatives out there, just like there are liberals who are strong advocates for national security. I guess it's like the "male/female brain" thing.
