I think it's had its day. Let's be honest, it peaked between 2006 and 2009, well before ch5 even took over. It has been downhill since then.

People who can't afford to have it, who already pay £140 a year for their TV licence and whatever they pay for broadband. That's quite enough in my opinion, without shelling out any more.

Honestly if anyone can't afford both, but wants one, I would fling broadcast telly to **** and get Netflix. You can get the vast majority of broadcast telly On Demand without a TV license. Unless you specifically have a boner for the BBC, Netflix is definitely worth more, and is cheaper.

Netflix is really annoying to use

I use other people's and it does my head in

Unless it becomes more usable (like Now TV) then i wont be getting it.

Whether you can afford to pay for TV licence, broadband, etc., or not, and some people can't, it's the principle of forking out more money for a subscription service, on top of what I've already got, that doesn't appeal.

I cancelled my Prime account yesterday. The search tool is awful you literally have to scroll through thousands of films and only now and then come across a film than isn't made on a student camera or budget of £1000.

Already have Virgin Media for all my tv and Netflix though the UK Netflix has nothing on the American version i only keep it to binge watch tv shows like Schitts Creek, Santa Clarita Diet, Haunting Of Hill House...Movies are hardly ever updated on there and when they are they are usually pretty old.

Just took out a free trial for Now TV and its much better than most services out there.

In conclusion lol i personally wouldn't sign up to Netflix solely for BB and there isn't enough content on there to warrant spending an extra £6 a month/(£72 a year)

Well I imagine you already have Broadband and it gets used for various purposes and internet usage?

Acting as though it's an additional Netflix cost is amusing.

If this person already has a television package and broadband they are not living on the breadline.

Dude its an extra £72 a year pretty much everyone has broadband not because they have extra cash to throw around on luxurys but because the internet has become a bit of a necessity..Everythings done online.

Netflix isn't included with tv packages and I think most people living on the breadline simply use freeview.

Netflix isn't worth the fee imo.

It's not a necessity if every single last penny counts.

I don't know anyone who doesn't have broadband including people who live on universal credit and ESA.

To most people having internet access IS a necessity. Im currently off sick and I would go nuts if I had no broadband so imagine those who are stuck at home for long periods...It doesn't bare to think about lol.

The thing is just because someone has broadband Netflix is still an additional expense on top which most couldn't justify paying.
