That, plus the ignorance/borderline ableism I've seen on here makes me inclined to believe that some people just don't like Anne because she's autistic. It's a likely and plausible conclusion

I mean look back at bb19 where the most heavily critisised housemate was Sian hamshaw for deplorable actions like smoking, having a child, laughing, talking, breathing and existing

How can you answer that as being autistic is part of Anne, without it she would be a different person?

Don't forget she got heavily criticised for cooking and cleaning too....accused of doing it to not get nommed. So it looks like you shouldn't be super productive or lazy....but then they would get accused of trying to coast.

The fact is people like different people and if you don't like someone in first impressions you only focus on the negatives.

I can't stand Nick....others love him. Nature of the beast in reality tv I guess

Nothing anyone does in there effects us as a viewer...we are here to comment, observe and discuss.
Enlighten me please on what you have seen her do to help around camp? She stomped the fire and fanned it...only because she was asked to as she was the only one in camp who was allowed to.
To me it's team play...team spirit..all playing a part...including looking after camp...and Anne has done nothing.

That's a ridiculous thing to say fgs....it's a shame that people think she is exempt from any kind of critisism because she is autistic. I don't dislike her...but I think she is capable of more than she lets on.

You're correct, it doesn't! But people are acting as if someone not doing something is something that affects them
She washed her own clothes (even chuff will remember that, given she made an entire thread about it) which is clearly her doing something around camp. Couple of other things but with 24 hours being crammed into around 45 minutes, we're not gonna see everything. Not when some of that is filled with the girls sunbathing and Emily and John messing around (bad things? No, but I'm surprised some people aren't yapping about how they aren't doing anything for camp. Sair and John are seen doing things as they've been the chefs but Rita and Emily have not had any complaints that they "do nothing" despite being shown on-screen doing next to nothing. In fact, rusticgal, can you name what everyone has done over the past 2 weeks?)
Again, Anne "has done nothing" isn't a fair crticism and I want to know your opinions on the others who contribute less (actually, on that note, what is Anne meant to do if her job is simply the logs? )

I don't think she' s exempt from any criticism, but thanks for putting words into my mouth! I didn't even mention anything about Anne's activities around camp, either. I am on about people being downright ignorant and saying Anne's set autism back years among other vile comments. Not ridiculous at all.

Nobody is saying that she cannot be criticised but I have yet to see criticism on here that doesn't relate or somehow come back to her disorder.

Tbh all these anti Anne threads are desperate attempts at finding some rational justification for irrational hatred of her.

It is all about virtue signalling, chuff.

The people supporting Anne don't give a tuppeny toss about Autism. They want people to think they do.

The difference is that lazy campmates are normally pulled up on it by the other campmates. It even causes much needed conflict. But Anne is getting a pass because the other campmates don't want to upset the public by being seen to pick on Anne.

I love how the rule about discussing fans/members changes depending on who it involves.

Discuss the campmates.
