I was watching an old X Factor clip and @ 0:58 they show a shot of this girl called Chanelle who James was in the papers for getting off with.

I googled the story and it turns out it was the same Chanelle who was on BB and EOTB 5 years later

ROMEO X Factor favourite James Arthur is getting serious about love... says the Take Me Out beauty he was spotted snogging in a club.

Model Chanelle McCleary today tells the world she and James have been texting and calling each other regularly since they met... and they intend to step out officially as a couple once the show is over.

Chanelle, a contestant on the ITV dating show, says they’ve kept their romance under wraps only because James, 24, has been warned by X Factor bosses that he needs to concentrate on the show.

“All my girlfriends are jealous,” said Chanelle, 20, who was trading texts with James right up to last night’s show. “They all love him and who can blame them. He’s a babe and the most genuine guy I’ve met.”

Yesterday she spoke for the first time of the night they met – and that first kiss – at London’s Whisky Mist club. “I thought he was a bit of a smooth operator straight away,” she said. “We just bounced off of each other because we’re both quite down to earth.

“He wanted me to go back to his hotel where all the X Factor contestants are staying but he’s not allowed to have people back there.

“Then he wanted to come back to my hotel but I said he couldn’t because I was sharing with my nana. James joked that he didn’t mind meeting my nana as well!

“So we ended up having a little kiss around the corner from the club that night.

“He was a very good kisser. It was raunchy when it got to that point. He is good looking. There’s something about him. He’s just got this niceness.

“When I got back and told my nana who I’d just met she said, ‘I love James. Tell him he’s welcome to come round for some of my cottage pie’.”

Chanelle, from Middleton, Manchester, works as a cosmetic adviser in between shoots for agency Model Worx, who signed her after she was on Take Me Out.

An Irish farmer called Paul picked her to go on a date during the second episode of the series. They went jet skiing in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.

“I couldn’t believe my luck when I was chosen for Take Me Out, or when I was picked to go on a date even though it didn’t come to anything.

“It seems like my luck is in at the moment because I met James almost at the same time as I did Take Me Out.”
