Not completely true. Government contractors won't be receiving any back pay.

It would be nice to see a statutory payment made to these individuals..but this is America, they couldn't gI've everyone the same amount due to some probably contesting it in court saying their job was more important than the others....so, they can't guess how many hours each contract worker would have worked because they won't know when they would have been needed or used, so I think that is excusable.
