=8th: God Is A Woman
Danielle - personally, I would’ve had this lower but Louise gave her a generous score placing her joint 8th. A tad forgettable and boring. Louise - I LOVE this song. A female power anthem and her live performance of it (I can’t quite recall where she was) holds a special place in my heart which is why I ranked it so highly. Plus that artwork. Whew. =8th: break up with your girlfriend, I’m bored Danielle - we LOVE bicurious, gay-baiting Ari. The latest of Ariana’s long line of singles, BUWYGIB is a certified bop. However, I do feel like we have had similar sounding songs from Miss Grande before. Plus we haven’t had as much time to digest it’s beauty as the others so it’s probably a placing that could change in a month or so. Louise - I ADORE the video. Miss lesbian Ariana slays. It’s one of my favourite tracks off of thank u, next but I just feel like maybe we haven’t had enough time to listen to this one to rank it any higher, idk? 7th: Problem
Danielle - If Ariana hadn’t entered people’s worlds with The Way, then it was definitely Problem that made her the superstar she is today. Sure it’s a little cheesy and sounds a bit dated but it takes me back to 2014 and is still a song you can have a cheeky dance to! Louise - A 2014 bop. This is when the UK was really introduced to Ariana as an artist and we lapped it up. Despite how much it was played at the time, it has aged well and I will still bop along to it! 6th: Side to Side Danielle - Personally, I would’ve 100% had Side to Side as number one but Louise doesn’t like the song. Miss Ariana is really serving the girls sexual liberation, the video is everything and Nicki’s verse rolls off the tongue so neatly. A song suitable for the clubs, gym, relaxing, holiday etc etc. Ariana really outsold herself with this. Louise - I feel bad on Danielle for ranking this low. It was a successful single on one of my favourite albums but I just don’t really feel that strongly about it? Remaining: Spoiler: |

Danielle - LOVELY song that I definitely must’ve listened to on repeat for about a week when it first released. Unfortunately the GBP insist on doing everything to death so I bored of it quickly. Louise - A BANGER. Amazing lyrics. Great self reflection on Ariana’s part and you can really tell from this song how much she’s changed as a person. The video is ICONIC and it smashed records. A queen. =5th: Into You Danielle - It was TIBB’s top song for a reason. Into You is pop perfection, a catchy chorus, stunning vocals from Ariana and a lovely little beat in the background to bop to. Louise - There’s not much to say about Into You that hasn’t already been said millions of times. An amazing song with a great chorus and video and was a banger in 2016. =5th: One Last Time Danielle - It will now forever be associated with the atrocities that happened in the Manchester bombings . While a lovely testament to those who lost their lives, judging away from that, idk I just don’t think it’s one of her best.Louise - Obviously like Danielle said, it’s now associated with the Manchester Arena bombing but I’ve always loved this song. It’s so beautiful to listen to and I love the video as well. =5th: Break Free Danielle - oh how I SHOOK my flat chest to this back in 2014. Break Free is an absolute banger and while I can accept it is a bit generic, it’s still a bloody GORGEOUS tune. Louise - Me and the girls were bopping to this back in Year 9.
