Default I hate Big Brother...

...for what they've done to Emily.

This great, entertaining, intelligent, fun loving girl has been used as a 'sacrificial lamb' in the television companies ploy to win back respect after the way they handled Celebrity big Brother 5.

Emily would not have gone this week, and she probably would have won the competition, but now, she has to go home.

Big Brother is to blame.

Fair enough, that's your opinion.

EDIT: I won't pass full judgement until I know absolutely everything, or see it, because I feel viewers are entitled to that. And I don't think BB would've ejected Emily unless they thought it was necessary in the circumstances - at the end of the day they want to gain viewers, not jeopardise their position in the audience's eyes.

Its not BB fault that the girl didnt show any intelligence.

We all knew they would show zero tolerance on any remarks that could be construed as racist, or any bullying.

Sorry disagree.
Emily DID bring this on herself, if it was anyone chanelle, all emily fans would be saying she should go. She really showed her lack of intelligence and I also think she wouldnt have won.

But you see coloured singers using that word all the time in songs, and Nicky and Charley was saying as wel after Emily. And they both said they wasn't bothered!

But she had heard the word spoken in the house already, how was she to know there'd be an appalling double standard employed?

I wouldn't for the simple fact I can tell when people are being malicious and when they are not.....

from what I've read Emily is not racist, and should not be labelled as so.

and I would say the same for Chanelle if she did the same as much as I dislike her.....

This "great, entertaining, intelligent, fun loving" girl used the most offensive racist remark a person could used. She deserved what she got. I dont think C4 used her win back respect, they did hat they thought was best - and it was the best thing.

How can you sand up for this girl?

If Big Brother would have left it, they simply would be getting questioned by Ofcom, which might have lead for Channel 4 taking it off the air.

The comment wasn't racist, so that's all I can say in response. If you give an example of a real crime, maybe it would be something that's hard to stand up for. At the moment, any person could easily stand up for Emily.

Emily may not have meant it in a racist way, and it may not have been offensive to Charley but it could be offensive to millions and millions of people who watch the programme. No matter which way you look at it - that is a racist comment. She deserved to thrown out. End of.

Who cares if she didn't say it with racial intent? It's still a word you don't use. Are you telling me that it'd be alright for me to refer to all black people I know as "*******" as long as I don't mean it as a derogatory term? Come off it!

and again They BOTH said the same word....so they BOTH should have been taken out.....just because Charley is black doesn't make it right for her to stay in and Emily be taken out....

It's actually quite offensive to a lot of people that BB has done that....

It's not the 'end of' at all, particularly seeing as your argument is so see through. Just because people are offended, does not mean the comment is racist. Just because someone verbalises a word does not mean they have unbridled hate for an entire race of people.
