she knew exactly what she was doing. Nikki said nothing after Emily said N****r, but charley went round telling everyone, and acting - she is such a bitch. Get Her Out!

Again. I knew this would be how some would view it. I completely 100% disagree. I think Charley was worried - she was pacing up and down. Charley knew the gravit of what had happened. As I said in another thread - If this happened in a club I'm sure it would have kicked right off. I think Charley behgaved impeccably.

In my opinion, Charley was hurt by what Emily said but she was trying to play it down in a way. She said to Emily more than once that it was "cool" and "fine" but you could see from her face that it wasn't.
Now, I'm no fan of Charley, so don't think that's what this is about. But I think Charley was scared that if she said she was offended or hurt, that Emily would get kicked out and the public would hate on Charley. Therefore Charley tried to play it down so that she wouldn't get the backlash. In my opinion BB were right to kick Emily out for that. They were all briefed before the show and they knew that was a word which was totally unacceptable - no matter in which context you use it. BB had no other option. Also, for Emily's sake, I would say that it's a good thing she was chucked out because she will be instantly forgettable. If she had been left in after this, the public would have blown this up and she would have been a hate-figure on leaving the house in the long run (in much the same way Jade Goody was). The big difference being that Emily doesn't have a bunch of PR people to spin it round for her, and she would get lynched for it in the street - which is sad, because violence isn't the answer. |

I dislike her because of her attitude, and the general way she is in the house... however, in this particular situation I don't think she was in the wrong. I understand people saying that she shouldn't have brought it up, then dropped it saying she wasn't offended etc., but the fact is she was clearly shocked. And the reason she kept bringing it up was probably because she was genuinely shocked and couldn't get it off her mind, no matter how much she wanted to let it go. It was obvious the impact it had on her by her initial reaction.

I can understand Charley was offended most people would of been, but why say your not offended and keep going on about it? the bit that annoyed me was when she was in the garden with Shabnam and Emily and said to Shabnam to just drop it then not long after went into the bedroom and started again.
