I'm not sure if 'scapegoat' is the right word to use but as far as I know, it means blaming someone for the sake it (or something along those lines) and now, because Emily's gone, all her fans will have to blame someone for it, because of course it wasn't Emily's fault, she's far too pretty/intelligent/trendy/ and she was just trying to be Charley's friend, poor girl, and the person they will blame is Charley because if it wasn't for her, Emily wouldn't have used 'the 'N' word'. So, does this mean Charley will still be the villain of BB, just as people were starting to warm to her?

That said, however, I think it was very unfair of BB to punish Emily and let Charley get off scot-free.

I changed my mind about Charley again, not because of the whole racist comment because she had a right to be offended, but i didn't agree with the way she told Shabnam then expect Shabnam to be quiet about it and also when she was in the bedroom she just kept going on and not saying anything about the comment.
If she wasn't offended as she said why did she have to keep going on about, i could understand her going on about it if she said she was offended. |

I don't think so. Not for me, anyway. As I've stated a number of times, it was blatantly obvious that she was completely shocked. The fact that she kept bringing up the subject and dropping it meant it was playing on her mind, and she didn't know how to deal with the situation, which just made me think she was insecure more than anything. She had every right to be shocked, so I hope she's not looked upon as a scapegoat.

IMO, Charley's a scapegoat because she had a reputation of being a troublemaker way before the incident.
